Event Types

Admins begin by configuring familiar properties like titles, descriptions, banners, dates, and requirements. The fundamental difference lies in the Event Types:

* **Basic Events:** This type requires Admins to select from the traditional [**quest template library**](https://docs.gamerbase.gg/). Similar to traditional quests, these events are static and objective-based.
 * **For Example:** Get 1 kill to complete the quest for **`100XP`**
* **Score-based Events:** The more competitive of the two event types, this gaming-exclusive event features dynamic objectives. Players must maintain performance to climb the leaderboard.
 * **For Example:** Each kill equals **`10XP`**

Based on the Admin's choice of Basic or Score-based events, they will access either Templates or Quests:

* **Templates:** Include the full library of quests—[**Action, Answer, Social, and Gaming**](https://docs.gamerbase.gg/).
* **Quests:** Gaming-exclusive quests with dynamic parameters.

The penultimate step is selecting an appropriate reward:\
**Basic:**

* **XP:** The in-app currency that increases player levels
* [**Custom Rewards**](https://onboarding.xborg.com/admin-panel/community-management/rewards)**:** Special rewards such as gift cards, jerseys, and signatures.

**Premium:**

* [**Wearables**](https://onboarding.xborg.com/admin-panel/community-management/digital-collectibles#inventory-items)**:** Items that customise user avatars
* [**Achievement**](https://onboarding.xborg.com/admin-panel/community-management/digital-collectibles#achievement-badges)**:** Badges that highlight specific achievements and landmarks

Editing Events and Restrictions

With all steps complete, the Admin can publish the Event or save it as a draft to finalise later. Admins should keep in mind that:

* Once published, only the event's **`Title`** and **`Description`** can be edited
* If an admin needs to edit a restricted detail, they must duplicate the event or create a new one with similar details while unpublishing the old event.
